can anyone remeber the last time they saw an ad then then when and bought the product directly because of it (not counting music or film releases)... i can, now does this mean the ad's are ineffective or that i am not aware of being influenced by them???

Mobile phone ads seem really weird lately, especially Phones 4U and 3, but I love the new Orange ads ("Svetlana sucks lemons...!"). The one with the couple dancing around each other is superb. If I hadn't just upgraded with Vodafone I'd be tempted to switch, even though I know Orange can be very expensive.

i saw an ad for a hang-it-all on sky once, ent and bought one and never iron without it now!

oh and the toilet duck flushable toilet brush, weight watchers ads inspired me to go and i still go now

the souther trains ad, i have since given up my car and leave everyday on the 8.15 to croydon, don't work there but its great! :-D
I think I did switch my phone to Orange cos of their advertising, probably more the print ones than on TV, but they always advertise their offers and stuff which are pretty good.  Other than that I can't actually think of anything.  I buy stuff cos of features in magazines pretty often, but that's a more indirect form of advertising.
hmm, i'm a sucker for makeup ads like for mascara and stuff.  Although I hate perfume adverts.  I mean is anyone actually going to buy a perfume on the strength of an ad alone?  Without sniffing it?  Tis silly.

i'd never though about that - perfume ads are really silly!

lepers - are you another one that sings along to that ad?

i'm glad the make up ads don't seem to be working on me - think i'd get some funny looks, then again i live in brighton so probably not :)
