i am on pay monthly o2 . i am going abroad. do i get charged for recieving call while i am in europe ? ive asked to have data international roaming calls restricted. does this mean no one can call me ?

what is best for me, i am on o2 as i say but i need to at least recieve calls to my pay monthly mobile phone.

i have downloaded whatsapp / line.com / viber.com

any more idea,s ?

Outgoing calls to UK (and other European) landlines & mobiles: 24p per minute
Incoming calls: 6p per minute
Outgoing texts: 7p
Incoming texts: Free

No. 'Data' refers to internet usage, not to calls and texts.
I'm unfamiliar with line.com but WhatsApp and Viber would need data to work.
Of course WiFi would work.
They're OK (and free) if you find free wifi in your hotel/bar OG

International roaming costs are always high by any network provider. Even though you activate any roaming plan, Still you would end up in paying huge bills. You can switch off data pack and start using wifi. But you can't expect for a wifi hotspot wherever you go.
The better thing you can do is unlock your mobile phone and use it with a local SIM from UK. You can unlock your phone safer and easier using unlock code .You can get the unlock code either from O2 network or from any trusted online vendor like http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/ Good luck.
