Could anyone please tell the nation the name of the WICKED tune that the BBC are using in the background of their World Cup 2002 Goal Of The Tournamnet Competition ?

No answer required ... You're all way too slow, I figured it out myself ... the track is "Please Stay" by Royksopp. ITV also used a Royksopp track to back their daily World Cup 2002 Round-Up, which is called "Eple".

is that the Mekon version that Royksopp have remixed? or is it just by Mekon?? Have you heard both versions of please stay (royksopps version and Mekons version)?

I've only heard the Royksopp remix up 2 now ... but since it was tha tune I was after in the first place, I felt no need to d/l the Mekon Original
