I have just been given a 2 litre bottle of sparkling drink named IRN Barr Bru.
It is made in Scotland. There is a website www.irn-bru.co.uk.
I checked the price at Asda online shopping site and found that the price for 3 bottles is £3. (1 bottle is more expensive at £1.68)
Nobody has asked me to post this message but as it has a good taste and is new to me in Brighton, I thought I would pass it on

It's made from girders.

Tastes of girders...
It is the national drink of Scotland, made of girders. It is this, combined with porridge oats which gives our Caledoninan friends the hardy nature required to repel us effete English from their borders and reclaim their their true heritage. All true Scots have Irn Bru and porridge for breakfast. Just Ask Alex Salmond. Roll on, Scottish Independence, can't wait for it.

Signed

An Englishman.
I did ask Alex Salmond, unfortunately I couldn't understand his reply...

Not a joke, but last year I had cause to ring my bank. Needless to say I ended up talking to someone in Asia whom I could not understand. After ten minutes of mutual incomprehension I asked to be transferred to the UK. They transferred me to Glasgow. After ten minutes I asked to be transferred back to India.
No joke, no - sorry Mike, there I must leave you, I'm off to my den...

Good night, be well :-)
You've seriously never heard of Irn Bru??? Wow!
Dont they sell this in Russia
With vodka it,s wicked. Asda own brand is a passable alternative at a fraction of the price
I work for Barr's.
We produce and sell millions of litres of Irn Bru, especially in Scotland where it's slightly more expensive.

It's also a good hangover cure too!!

Yes Bella, we export worldwide too
Asda "Iron Brew" no no no
It really is the national drink of Scotland too innit? Hubby once worked with a group of Scots who were devastated to learn that Irn Bru wasn't in any of the drinks vending machine and did without rather than have to drink anything else.
Irn Bru, you say? I'll have to try it and see.
Cant say i am a huge fan of it, like a ice cold can every now and again, always wondered why they didnt make a ice lolly using irn bru, they used to do the chew bar, it would be lovely in the summer when its hot
Also a Sugar Free version too,

The Scots are especially proud of it. Allegedly even have it on their cornflakes!

Can I just confirm it's Irn Bru and not Iron Brew? Cheers...
