According to a 1961 commercial how much did a Hoover Constellation cost? I've looked on You tube and seen a few of the ads but they say £18.00 (UK), 40 guineas and 45 guineas in what seems to be Australian adverts (???) . The answers available in the quiz are £11.00, £21.00, £32.00 and £42.00 help!

cheers

40 Guineas is £42.00
You've posted this in adverts my dear.
no idea but 40 guineas is £42 if that means anything.
Looking for a 'horror' short story from the 60s, possibly in one of the 'Pan' collections, in which it tells a futuristic tale of how people are forced to live their lives driving on the roads.
Ok (?)
In 1961 the Australian dollar didn't exist - so all prices would have been in £sd - or guineas
