DTH?
Hi dusty.

I don't normally answer questions like this, but as it's you, and as you've done another of your clever pictures ...

I pay money to five causes ...

children
animals
deafness
terminal illness
overseas aid

I send money each month.

A few weeks ago, I won almost 500 playing Blackjack (Woo Hooo!), so I sent each of them an extra 100.

It would be nice to be in a position to help everyone who needed it, but none of us can.
"none of us can ..."

Not quite true, actually.

Bill Gates can. And he does !!

Roman Abramovitch could. But he wastes it on overpaid, nancy ballerinas.
Aww, dusty, I got stars !!

Thank you. I love them.

I have a direct debit to the MacMillan Nurses, as I have had personal experience of these wonderful people and I think they are overlooked by the bigger charities.
I also buy a 'Big Issue' every week and pay more than the cover price.
I always drop money into tins of charity collectors in my local Tescos, as they take it in turns, so each charity has a chance.
:-)
Cancer Research and NSPCC regularly, and whoever shakes a tin in my face when I'm out. I feel too guilty to walk past!
I donated last night and I donate to CIN and Comic Relief whenever they are on. I'm always sponsoring people at work for various charities.

I have Direct Debits to the RSPCA and Dogs Trust.

That is a very cute Pudsey Dusty.
I put any change I have into collectors in the town only , and that's only if they're not shaking the tin/bucket , or shouting.
Oh , and I don't give to witch charities because I don't really think they exist :-)
I tend to support local charities (a couple of local hospices and a cat rescue centre) rather than the big corporate ones - although I do support the RBL and not just in November. Having spent a long time working for three of the biggest charities in the country, I know the appalling level of waste that goes on with public donations.
