Advertising in The Open Golf Championship

This isn't a sport question as such, but did anyone see the golf today (Saturday)? Is someone at the BBC getting a backhander from Taylor Made? Every time Garcia was on the tee, he had the makers' name on the ball facing backwards, towards the cameraman, and the BBC very obligingly broadcast the picture on virtually every tee. I know you see lots of manufacturers names at The Open, but this seemed like a blatant set up to me in which the BBC was very complicit. Talk about product placement!
