Minty, You mean his posts were filling ‘Latest Posts’? That doesn’t stop you posting so it’s hardly unusable. To be perfectly honest when I come on in the mornings there are always posts showing that are hours old - and any spammers never last long. Apparently there are ways to prevent much of the bombardment but it’s a technical issue which hopefully the powers that be are trying to address.

Murrayminyts hasn't the eds asked for volunteers for mods....maybe am wrong. But naomi was volunteered and accepted. Maybe Ed should ask you or redhelen or 1ozzy or maybe Lcg whose usually on early. Emmie was perfect.

Bob, it is a pain but when the spams are removed the latest legitimate posts will show. Spammers are generally fairly short lived.

Minty, I’ve been around here for about a hundred years so I don’t think I fail to grasp the impact spammers have. I just don’t get my knickers in a knot over it. It is what it is and it’s dealt with within a relatively short space of time.
