This poor little boy was banned from his school Carol Concert because his teachers allege he has an 'extreme' hairstyle. To be honest it doesn't look at all extreme to me, in fact it looks really neat and normal, any thoughts?

It's strange looking to my eye, but hardly a reason to exclude.
looks normal to me
I'd like to see the back, it appears his mother has already had a letter from the school re her sons hairstyle? As always . only have one side of this dispute
looks fine from the front - what's on the back?
Looks pretty normal to me. Having said that I can't see if there have been any patterns shaved in though.
I don't mind it at all , it is a bit 'Peaky Blinders' but it's neat.

As long as Schools make it clear what they mean by 'extreme' then this shouldn't arise.
Unless there was a swastika on the back - i don't see any reason for the ban
I usually support the "establishment.......but not here, I think that it looks smart.
OTT reaction by the teacher in my opinion.

From what I can see in those pics it looks fine, it's clean & tidy.
Nothing wrong with it at all.
The lad has been bullied by the school imo.
Looks perfectly acceptable to me...probably more to this than meets the eye....
How could you ban that cute little face. Bah humbug!

Well isn't it nice when we all agree? xx
Looks fine from what is visible, but would have liked to have seen it in its entirety.
''Tis a rare day that that happens on AB kvalidar!
The haircut is ok but the school rules say nothing shorter than a number 3 and no stepped haircuts. They had already received a letter so they were aware of this.
I don't think there's anything shaved in the back - the rule he's breaching is 'No undercuts', now whilst some can be quite extreme I don't think this is.
Wait a minute.......

"'I got a letter in May from the school when he had a similar cut, saying it was not acceptable - but that was seven months ago - and Khai's dad was unaware of the school policy on this.'"

The parents have known for 7 months that his haircut was unacceptable, so why did they have it cut exactly the same?

The Brits have a poor record of doing what they are told.
Haircut is NOT acceptable to the school or Board of Governors.....my sympathy for the family is slowly dwindling.
