Friday. Some stars out to play thia morning. We are atold it's wall to wall sunshine today. We shall see. Lots need doing in the garden if it is. Oh great joy.

back home last night after day at shops and din dins at Wetherspoons....if anyone has one nearby..try the Christmas menu..bacon and brie burger ..a burger with salad on thick slice of bacon..more like gammon..a breaded brie round and cranberry ..absolutely scrummy..served with onion rings..fries and with a soft drink £6.29..what fantastic value and very very tasty...

Morning minty xxx Wetherspoons are one of the best chain restaurants. There is one at Quedgley, I go there sometimes, and have been known to pay a visit. Excellent value for money.

mum likes it as they have a nice Merlot on tap !! lol

I'm partial to a drop of merlot too. I've been known to sample a wee dram on the odd occasion.

bit of garden tidying today and a wee catch up with some friends...picking mum up tomorrow to spend a few days here...must wrap a few bits up as well...

I was actually looking forward to coming home but within a couple of days I want to go back to Ireland. I didn't realise how much I liked isolation :-D

I know what you mean ummmm. When we came back we were always wishing wee were going again. We were planning to retire to Waterford. Then Ireland joined the EU. When Ireland joined the Euro that killed it!
