Hi there I have a job interview on Tuesday for a funeral organiser and my black trousers don't really look that good on me they are quite long and baggy. I have a really smart navy blazer black shoes would it be ok to wear biege trousers? As they look really smart on me
Why do you have to go in black? Funeral directors only wear black when "at work" as at other times they are more......colourful. If you were being interviewed for a porn star, they would n't expect you to turn up in a G-string and a "strap-on ***"or for a consultant surgeon in your theatre gowns. No geordie........scrap the black for the interview.
Good luck with the interview Gordie xx
p.s. it's a purely personal thing but I HATE beige in any form at any time. Stick to black in my opinion for this interview.
I'm pretty sure they won't expect you to look like a mourner at a funeral. Remember it's an INTERview I.e. You're opportunity to see if the job / company is right for you as well as them seeing if you are the right person. This approach can often reduce your nervousness.

The main thing is to feel comfortable in appropriate clothing and a smart navy blazer, shirt tie and beige trousers sounds perfect gordie. IF you get the job you will probably be given a uniform anyway so owning a black suit is not necessary. Black suits are a no no for interviews in my opinion anyway.
