Email Address

Hi Ed

As you know I was previously known as 2shortplanks. I had registered this account with my usual email address, and when I changed to 2sp I had to give a different email address.

Is there anyway I can change the email address on 2sp to the one that I used for 2shortplanks?

Please, pretty please? I'll behave nicely for the rest of the year?

Can you still get into your 2shortplanks profile? If so, go into there, change that email address to anything you like , then that address will become available again for you to use with your 2sp account

Wow that would be easier than I imagined. I assumed an account was permanently tied to the e-mail address that it was created with.

I've changed my email address on my profile a few times. It does mess up the avatar though unless you also update your email address on Gravatar. However I haven't checked whether the old email address could then be re-used on AB if I were to set up a second ID (not that anyone would ever have 2 IDs of course)

Yes, but you can't use an email address that has been previously used.

Sorry for not replying sooner - have had a bug!

Anyway, I can't get into my 2shortplanks profile as it has been marked as banned.

I'll email Ed direct, see if he can work his magic for me.
