Hi Ed,
I'm a crafty bugger as I'm sure you well know, and I was wondering why there is no Arts & Crafts Section in AB.
I know there is Hobbies and Interests buried deep in the bowels of Society and Culture (of all places) but this is a vast range of interest.
I think it deserves it's own header with sub-folders. What do you think?

I think it is as much so share ideas and perhaps give tips and sources for materials and new crafts - as well as maybe the odd display of a new creation.


Looking at the Topic list 'crafts' may sit uncomfortably close to other well used topics alphabetically, 'Handicrafts' less so.

Keep Arts separate and add a Crafts Box - don't think that it would be seen as a private message box for a certain mod..

I agree on the comment about eliminating sub categories.

I agree it is there Redman, however as Crafting is in a real new state of popularity it would be nice to have its own topic rather than hide its light under a bushel.

Arts to me suggests formal paintings, etc.

Crafts is far more specific, the handcrafted stuff which many of us enjoy making.

I'm happy not to have sub-categories, though I do think Crafts should be in the heading.

Hobbies & crafts sounds good to me but I'm not sure if it is the right place for dwile flonking.
