I've just posted a question in S&C entitled World War II - but it's come out as World War Ii - which could be construed as either World War II or a typo. Is there any chance of what we type in headings actually appearing as intended?

Gness too fell foul of this, typing 'MrsO' and getting 'Mrso' - which sounds like a nasty disease.
Yes I agree the headings look most disappointing sometimes, as if we have typed them wrong. I typed EMA (for East Midlands Airport) and it came out as Ema which was meaningless.
You're going to keep reminding me!!! :-) xx
Yes but that was actually funny Shoota!

DT did something similar with COE recently. I thought he was talking about Sebastian Coe!
had the "Mrso" once shoota, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy
Question Author
^^ Sorry, that wasn't clear. He meant Church of England - as I subsequently discovered.
The Coe one had me befuddled Naomi.
Yes the Coe one was strange :)
Strangely enough it appears correctly in latest posts.
Oh sorry. Should have zoomed in. Bloody supermarket specs.

Not on my screen.
question titles have their own rules, capitals only but always at the beginning of words. You type iPod or eBay you get Ipod and Ebay.

Eye test at Specsavers?
Question Author
jno, that's abundantly clear, but is it necessary?
The reason we do this is because some users entered titles like:

i WoNdEr If ThIs WoUlD gEt AnNoYiNg

While it's not perfect, it gets us there most of the time and is less annoying than the above.
ArE tool veRy«at me ed ? lol....

Ed, thanks for the explanation. We'll have to try to re-word our questions to ensure they make sense.
Naomi..you creep..lol x

I do recognise it is a bit of a pain though.
