Colour popping is quite difficult to master and it needs to be the right image to start with and an interesting feature to make it work properly.

It's an interesting idea however would never work with that image because there is no symmetry to the face, where the image is seperated does not equate to half the face. Additionally the colouring and levels are all wrong.
