What Would You Do?

I've seen that a lot in the replies and posts on here since Monday night. One man on the radio this morning, a former senior member of COBRA, said the answer is to deport all those with known connections to terrorism. Even if there isn't enough evidence to bring them to trial. If their activities have brought them to the attention of the security forces, they should be deported without any questions being asked. Summary dismissal!

We saw last week how the law was being used by convicted paedophiles, at our expense, to fight deportation, it should be one strike and you're out, with no public funding. Anyone who is a guest in my home who abuses my hospitality and good(ish) nature is out immediately.
To even refer to the Human Rights Act in reference to these subhumans is ridiculous, they broke their part in that contract so it should be voided.

I put quite a few ideas for starters up the other day and was duy shot down by the liberal left on here picking on one that said ban foreign flags. And this is what we are up against. People like Eddie and Mickey who seem to refuse to understand Islam is the root of this and that we are at war.
Eddie, when you are at war the law has to change. If something is 'illegal' in peace time it often needs to be changed for the duration of the war. A war was declared on us, we need to understand and accept this and deal with it, harshly and firmly.
There will be some collateral damage, but we cannot go on like we are. Now we see the depths Daesh will go to that collateral is small fry.

Naomi, the 'you can't jail x million' argument is always raised by the liberal left on here who just dont seem to get, despite being told many times, that no one is suggesting rounding up all Muslims.
In a poll after the London bombing around 6% of Muslims were supportive of it. So for all those deniers yet again, THESE are the Muslims we refer to for internment and as a target for action.

Wars are declared between nations or between a split within a nation, they are not validly declared between a terrorist group of wannabes and a nation. It is unwise to play into their hands by agreeing such a status exists. Next thing you know you'll get murdering groups claiming prisoner of war status when caught.
YMB....can I make this point, and its one that I have made many, many times before.
Of course the bomber was Muslim, as they were all the ones associated with the 7/7 outrages. But the vast majority of other Muslims are not terrorists. And I refuse to tar everybody with the same brush.
I have been listening to the news this morning. It now appears that this bomber was already known to the security forces, in fact, very well known. Member of his family have now been arrested, here in Britain and even in Libya.
Perhaps we shall see an investigation into why the security forces allowed this obviously dangerous man to organise and go on to commit his atrocity.
We can't possibly round up, over a million people and place them in internment. Nor can we deport British people to places unknown. We rely on the security forces to keep us safe and it is now looking as if they failed in that duty.

Mikey, //We can't possibly round up, over a million people and place them in internment. //
Where did you get that figure from? There are 12,000 on the watch list, not one million - and a good number of those are foreigners who can be deported. The rest can be locked up. Do you have a problem with that?

To answer the OP, the same one I've given all along(which would require a change in the law, both international and domestic): For UK citizens internment without trial for a period of 6 months, whilst incommunicado. No Koran, no prayer meetings, no association, no visitors. For those not born in he UK, immediate deportation to their country of origin.
These people are are on lists and 'on the radar' for good reason, therefore it's only right and proper that such draconian action be taken to protect innocent UK citizens.

If Salman Abedi was on a watch list, why did the security forces allow him the freedom to bomb ?

Hey didn't mikey, hey gave him freedom to roam in a Western democratic society, but you already knew that.
The lefty, lentil munching tree huggers with their delicate sensibilities gave him he freedom to bomb, not that he had any right to that.
