What Would You Do?

I've seen that a lot in the replies and posts on here since Monday night. One man on the radio this morning, a former senior member of COBRA, said the answer is to deport all those with known connections to terrorism. Even if there isn't enough evidence to bring them to trial. If their activities have brought them to the attention of the security forces, they should be deported without any questions being asked. Summary dismissal!

Hi 10C.....I left the Catholic Church many, many years ago....
When the scale of the abuse came to light I expected my family and friends to walk away...most didn't of course.....a few did.....
In view of what is being carried out in the name of Islam I expect followers of that faith to do the same as I expected of Catholics....
If you want to live in Britain and benefit from all it offers .....and not being British this would apply to me....you accept that if you, or a member of your family, carries out these atrocities or is proved to be on a "person of interest" list.....then you leave....to where?...The country of your forefathers I suppose.....I really don't know...but you don't accept or receive the hospitality of Britain.....
And yes....I'll be shot down by some...that will bother me not....
I think I'm a kind person......but I'm not soft and I am very black and white.........we shouldn't come here hoping for a better life and then destroy the lives of the people who have taken us in..........Gx

It would seem that we are doing all we can given the laws of the land, ironically also the reason many of these people come here...the Manchester MP Lucy Powell said today that the perpetrators of these acts are "deranged and not human beings" which is wrong - they are just the opposite. The people involved in the 2007 London/Glasgow Airport bombings comprised of Medical Doctors and a Professional Engineer - it seems unlikely they were all deranged or inhuman, even if they were mostly related.
// If they were born here, internment, as the Americans did to the Japanese in WW2.//
no they didnt
the Japanese parents were interned (in unpleasant conditions but nothing like what he Emperor was doing in the co-prosperity sphere)
and the sons being american citizens were called up
also occurred in SOuth Africa 1900 where the burgers of the Dutch republics called up those of english parents who had been born in Freedom to fight against the White Queen
and ireland where the young irish were in the trenches and read about their parents and the black and tans and mutinied ( Connaught Mutiny)
so Vulvan - if you dont like history as it is - just rewrite it !
