I went shopping to Morrisons with my parents and what should have been an easy task took over 20 minutes with there being 1 person serving at the self scan checkouts of 8 people who all had problems at the same time such as incorrect item in bag, take the last item out of the bag item not recognised etc etc. Never again it should come with a health warning for people suffering from high blood pressure not to use them.

Just been to the Co-op for some beer and I've come back with a leg of lamb for £2-00, 2 pieces of salmon for a quid and 2 pieces of smoked haddock for a quid....bargain:-)

My first stop on any supermarket visit is the 'Reductions' chiller - last good bargains,a pack of 6 quarter pound lamb burgers for 20p and a pack of 8 lamb sausage for 20p.

The two main supermarkets near me are open till 10 p.m. I must train myself to go shopping at 9 p.m.

Asda,I must add they were from the Halal section which I think deters some shoppers.

No local butcher, sick of chicken. None in Iceland either. Full of Christmas stuff, eg 3 , 4 and 5 bird joints!
