Well , what a surprise for the tories .

Theresa May will now be the Country's second female PM.
Are you happy with that ?

Misogyny or have you got a point that I have somehow missed?
anneasquith, // Or maybe he was never a true brexit at all //

We know he wasn't. That's already been said.
Is a remainiac the right person to lead the country into these coming negotiations ?

Will someone call Gideon - he might as well throw his hat into the ring

Oh it's too late - it's now 12:18 hours
Sigh! Now I've got to show my aris in Selfridge's window, likewise TTT in Harrod's.
The majority of Tory MPs are remainiacs and they would not support Boris - shame that.
When will tickets to the showing go on sale, JD?

I'm still in negotiation with Mr Selfridge on that one, Jim.

I whispered to Boris your pledge along with TTT. On the 113 bus now to Oxford St. :-)
Poison chalis theory.
Bottler Boris ... :+)

I would have agreed about the poison chalice theory had labour have a hope in hell of forming a shadow cabinet let alone a serious alternative at the next election
Well , given the utterances from the remaining two favourites , it looks like Boris is destined for the back benches .

Shame
Hmm surprised at that and when you look at the rest theresa May looks like the best candidate by miles, I suppose anyone but Gove!
A very shrewd move by Boris, especially as he was never going to stand anyway. He knows his name is toxic with much of the country and Theresa May will be far more acceptable to both the party and the country. I'm amazed anyone even thought he would run for PM as all the signs were there.

I'm disappointed to hear that he's standing down, but I won't speculate on the whys and what fors.
Well all I have learnt from this mess is never ever trust a politician! I think most people knew that but the way the leave mob have backtracked shamelessly they don't even bother to hide the fact that they said things that they could not deliver.
