Marval, I pictured you as being a man with all the jokes you put on `Phrases & Sayings` Keep `em` coming, they say laughter is the best medicine.
Well no chance of me resuscitating him after he'd been down there! But then...we'd be "gone" anyway, wouldn't we???

Ah well, 3 sensible replys out of 13 can`t be bad.
Being a rational sort of chap I'd take the "other side" to be "the other side of my coffin lid" - any more cosmic location being the product of an over-optimistic mind, in my humble opinion.

So I guess I'd vote for the rotting carcass of Fish from Marillion.
Family and pets.
As for the rest , they were a pain in the b**, during my lifetime .Would die if I thought they were waiting for me.
My mums dad, he died 5 years before I came along. I've been told that my personality is just like his was. I would have loved have known him. Also mums mum died when I was 18, I loved her sooo much.
There is no "other side"

sqad617, can you prove that? I`ll tell you a story some time about my experience after having a heart valve replaced back in 1973. I was in the recovery ward 3 days after my op when I died for a few minutes, and when I was recovered I asked to see the big black nurse whom had said to me that I will get well and had held my hand for what seemed like several minutes, but I was told there was no black nurse on the ward and hadn`t been so. Makes you think......perhaps!!
