Ok, this might not be the right section for what I'm after but can anyone reccommend any books I can get my Dad for the 'libarary'.

I don't want a proper novel, more after fun books that you can just pick up and read a little bit of.

For example I was looking at the Grumpy Old Men book but it didn't get very good reviews.

Maybe slightly heavy but what about "Passing Time In The Loo""published by Scarab Books?
Gary Larsson - any of his compilations of cartoons.
You have been observing me at the "Cludgy" Mosaic.
Bill bryson " a short history of nearly everything" keeps ones mind engaged and can be put down and picked up at any time, a very intersting book for the older
persons library. I have one in the loo, and have now read it three times. and will read it again if the tight b###stds don't be me a new one for christmas.
anything books from QI are a must have
