trying to access internet by swapping cable modem to other PC. VM say I need new NIC. another VM employee says nothing wrong with NIC but I need to update software. No further explanation....

restore to a previous time

Is it save to restore to a previous time as the only way I can access windows xp is by ctrl alt del. Also would I have to reactivate windows again which I have done so today
