Interest on Savings

I have 10K to put aside. If i were to put it into a savings account that paid 2% net interest Monthly, would i recive ?200 pounds a month in Interest?

If a bank paid interest on savings monthly, say at 2%. And i had ?10K in that account, would i recive ?200 per month on interest?
