AOL and eBay on Windows XP

Is money safe in a Fixed Rate Bond now, with Bradford & Bingley, now it has merged with Santander? Should we worry if we have ?35,000 in B&B as well as some money in the Abbey ??

An old oak table not varnished, usually I use some Cillit Bang on oil stains and just scrub, but this mark won't shift. Did I hear somewhere about blotting paper and a hot iron? Is this for wood?

Further to my earlier thread, is it safe at the moment to put money in a Fixed Rate Bond if it is under ?35,000, and are there any Banks you would say, stay away from? Either here or abroad?
