Too Cold???

My nan used to say "it was too cold to snow".......My friend and I were talking about it last night and we wondered how this saying came about or is it that my nan was just making things up????

I currently work in a school, well from home for a school and lately I have had to cancel meetings and other stuff due to my daughter not being full time school yet. The school is getting a bit narked...
