I have bought a astra cdx 1.8 estate but does have slight steering wander and have since found that passenger front tyre is worn in the centre could this be all down to the tracking or something...

my astra 98 cdx auto is running rough at tickover but still drives very well no coughs or splutter still plenty underfoot it was all going well till i went through the car wash the other day ?????...
