My last one: 26ac = Flag for speed - that's how it usually goes (8,4).
I've got "standard -a-e" which I think could be rate or pace (or race), but can't see which one or why.
Any ideas?...
I'm stuck on my last clue: 16ac = A function of envy, say, at its outset (4).
