Vauxhall Vectra boot lock

My Vectra boot lock has started to make a sort of whirring / grating noise each time I fully open the boot. Has anyone else had a similar problem or has any ideas about a simple solution? Many thanks...

Hot water tap noises

Whenever we turn off the hot water tap in either the bathroom or kitchen we get a hammering noise unless we turn off the taps slowly. I thought it might be an airlock (as suggested by several people)...

sky tv recording on dvd

I have a Sony recordable DVD which should be set up to record Sky on Line 3 (I have followed the set up instructions exactly) but it does not record sound - only pictures. Can anyone give me any ideas...
