Hi ya all as said b4 and ave read the answers on here but brain is not i synch I have lost all the sound on my desktop all of a sudden over the last week have checked the conections and have not done...

I have just been given a DVD (home movie) that has an AVi extension. It won't play on my Sony DVD recorder but is fine on my PC. Is there any way I can get this to play on anything other than my PC ?...

Everytime i go on line my monitor seems to go off, its as if you have turned it off because the power light goes to red, my computer is still running though. Any answers? could it be the VGA?
