Problem with diesel Nissan X Trail 2.2 SE+

Losing power at 1500 - 2000 revs and black smoke. Local garage have already changed fuel filter and are now saying it may be the fuel pump and to take it to nissan as they can't find the fault....

New Condenser Tumble Dryer

Just bought a new tumble dryer but it makes the clothes smell. I can only describe it as a burnt biscuit smell which isn't very pleasant. I've tried using it at a lower heat setting but to no avail....
