Tompson digi box

I have a Thompson digi box which is now out of guarantee. It often freezes up and switching it off for a few minutes usually solves the problem. Unfortunately it has frozen again but this time I can't...

i have one of these boxes but opted not to have the topup tv package--it has been going generally ok but i recently recorded a program which should have been only a half hour--it recorded over an hour...
