Good vineagrette

I would like to start eating salads but find I only can if there's a nice vineagrette-type sauce (sorry can't spell that word!) over it... Can anyone give me a basic recipe for one, that tastes nice?...

I found a snake in my garden, its a beige colour with no markings and is about 10 inches long. it is not a slow worm as we have those too. it is definately a snake as it has a forked tongue and shed...

Wasps

the windows of my bedroom are constantly open and I get a lot of wasps coming in. They're my worst creatures, they creep me out! I've tried spraying them with furniture polish, deodrant and bleach but...
