40 and trying to get pregnant

Can anyone help I'm nearly 41 I'm trying to get pregnant for the first time. This is the 4th month and no joy yet. Timing my ovulation to maximise our chances. Does anyone have any good advice or tips...

Any chance I'm pregnant?

I Know this is very premature, but my period is due sometime next week (I'm not very regular), and my hubby and I had unprotected sex this weekend (purposely I might add), do you think I've left it...
