My lcd computer screen has just started making soft hissing noises. It's just over a year old (out of waranty) has this happened to anyone else, can it be fixed?

Removing Ivy

The front of our house is covered in ivy, we've cut the roots off fed it acid and even hammered copper nails into the roots (as advised by our plumber) still the plant grows. any ideas?
