Ive noticed that we spell "loser" and "losing" thusly , why do others spell it "looser" and "loosing" ? When Loser is spelt looser it becomes a whole word , so what are the origins of these spellings...

hasn't chocolate got expensive these days!! I remember when cadbury buttons were about 30p for little buttons and 40 something pence for giant buttons. Now giant buttons are about 62p though!...
