Who can provide Telephone other than BT?

Which companies can provide Telephone other than BT in the North East Lincolnshire region? Telephone is main priority, the other services such as TV and/or broadband would be a bonus but are NOT ESSENTIAL. Been having LOADS of trouble with the BT line so it's NOT got to be anyone who uses the BT line (such as Utilities Warehouse!)

2 choices only, bt or cable, assuming cable is in the area.

That means BT or Virgin - no other companies actually install.

i use the post office for fone and broadband.its cheap, and you get the usual evnin n weekend, but mobile calls are free all weekend, and one number abroad free as well. i pay what i want with a card, so i dont get a big bill.id never go back to bt

As I said, ONLY bt or Virgin actually install - if you get a bt, who you go to after the initial contract period is up to you, but not until then.

I may be well wrong here , but isn't Carphone Wharehouse installing their own lines , in some areas ?

We have a BT line and are royally cheesed off with them so we are moving to Sky - who now offer phone rental and call routing - so we will be completely free of BT :-)
