Deafness Or Not?

Does anyone else have hearing problems during TV plays when actors are talking outdoors? I have no problem hearing things inside,and wonder if it's just the sound quality ( or lack of it)

Used mine for the first time yesterday,afterwards it occurred to me that anyone could steal my card and swipe it,whereas putting a PIN number in gave more security, how secure are these new ones?
