Glaecemic Index Ratings

Does anyone from the food industry know if there are any plans to include the Glaecemic Index rating of foods on the packaging along with the other nutritional data ?

Diabetic Nutritional Guide

I'm trying to find a guide book, similar to a calorie counter, which shows carbohydrates split between sugars and non-sugars. It would also be useful if it showed fat content also. Any offers???...
