Ripped cords

Not sure where this should go so I'll just put it here. I split the back of my cord trousers a bit when I put something in the back pocket. Oops! I was just wondering what the best way to fix it is....

Nail varnish

Sometimes when I put on nail varnish it looks nice and smooth when wet but as it dries it looks rough and bubbly on my nails. It seems to happen a ot at the moment. Does anyone know why?
