What is the going rate for babysitting?

My daughter is to begin babysitting for a neighbour but none of us has any idea what the going rate is, can anyone help? Are there different rates for daytime and evening time?

Babysitting rates

My daughter is doing her first babysitting job in a few weeks for a friend of mine. It'll be from 7 til midnight. What can she expect to earn and who sets the rate...my daughter or my friend? TIA...
