Tom Tom or other GPS

I am thinking of getting a gps for my car. There are loads out there and everyone talks about Tom Toms, but there seem to be smaller screens. Any ideas? Up to about ?500. Cheers

Traffic Light things!

What are those camera looking things ontop of some traffic lights? Some people say they are used by the emergency services to change the lights when they approach. But some of them seem to be pointing...
