WW2 submarine

I have found some family photos of a beached submarine, probably taken during or just after WW2 and probably on the North Wales coast. Anyone know anything about this or know who would please?

So what am I

I can trace my family back to the early 1700s in and around the Birmingham area, I presume we were here much earlier than that also,so who would I most likely descend from, the Celts, Saxons, Normans...

Monument in Llandderfel, Wales

Does anyone know about a monument in the graveyard in Llanderfel (near Bala) for a well known poet (Sorry, I don't know his name)? Is there anywhere I can find out on the Internet? Thanks.
