Telephone Land line Dead / Internet Connection OK

Can someone please explain as I can't understand? Surely the phone line must be working for the ADSL connection to function. Thank you CTDWT

TV Tuner Card Problem

I have a PCTV Tuner Card marked for use in a PAL 1 area and consequently it does not work in a PAL B/G area. Is it at all possible to overcome this problem, other than acquiring an alterative Card?...
