Does anyone else think that these numbers are to do with some sought of flight plan that goes over the island? Like they shut down the island so it becomes invisible to planes? How else could this...

how do we know that the island in lost is an island?

Has anyone thought that the "island" in lost is just the coast line of a country? Maybe England?
