when your driving licence is revoked(because you have 6 points added to your licence in the first 2 years since passing test),how soon can you go for a retest after it has been revoked

the amount of points you receive for no insurance is between 6-8,does the courts HAVE to give you a minimum of 6 or can they give you 5 or less(if they find it suitable to do so)
