I wish to have my car serviced. It is Fiesta 1994 with only 65,000 miles on it. It was serviced just before I got it last June & I have only done about 3,000 since I got it. I want to get it serviced more for my peace of mind as I have no idea when it comes to cars. So would I need a full service or a basic service? And what do they actually include, what do they do on a full service that they don't do on a basic/interim service? Thanks

if you look in the haynes manual (wot? you haven't got one? ) it will tell you what each type of service should include and what frequency they should be done.

your service schedule in the cars paperwork should tell you what type of services have ( allegedly ) been done and when, date & mileage.

if in any doubt, renew the cam belt as if it fails there is a large probability that expensive damage to the engine will occur.

service intervals are 12.500 miles so yours hasnt done many miles i would get an intrim service oil/oil filter change ,which done at a good garage means they would advise you on any other stuff that needs doing .Save you money for the 75,000 mile sevice thats the biggie.
