. . . for twice the price!
I queried it with them and they replied saying they have to cover eBay and PayPal fees and pay the postage. I wanted so much to continue but quite honestly didn't know where to start.
Is it me, I wonder?

well just don't buy them from that seller then. They are in the shops, aren't they?
Question Author
Absolutely, that's just my point. If anyone buys them I'd love their addresses; I've got loads of rusty, bent six-inch nails going for just £10 each. A snip in anyone's language.
yes its you....its doesn't seem to take much to wind you up and it is doing your stress levels no good at all.
Question Author
Still can't get over that wrap over your knuckles then woof? Let it go - it's beginning to make you sound even more bitter.
This wrap you keep on about. Is it cellophane, mink or perhaps a tortilla type thing?
Question Author
Sorry Svejk? KEEP ON ABOUT? What d'yer mean?
You've offered wraps to other people on here. I was just wondering what sort they were and could I apply for one. ;)
Question Author
No I haven't. It may be what you'd like to have happened. The ONLY other time I've used that phrase was the last time woof made a stupid remark over which I had to correct her. Are you joined to her by the hip or are you just stalking her movements? It does seem very strange that when woof makes a bloomer so do you. How many email addys do you have by the way?
LewPaper /// Though I cross swords with an intellectual GIANT as redvanman with extreme caution I do think he has a lot to learn when dealing with people (and the English language come to that, eg 'brave men that fought', men are people not things - 'men WHO fought') but possibly with attention to detail and the odd wrap across his knuckles he'll learn. ///

I don't think Woof will be too chuffed at being intimately associated with me, Lew. ;-)
Question Author
Oh yes, there was THAT one, I forgot, still the phrase 'intimately associated' isn't one I used . . . but then again who would be?
My mum, sort of, liked me.
Question Author
Yes, of COURSE she did along with a LOT of other people I'm sure. Don't take everything I say so personally; nothing wrong with a little light-hearted banter and insults - it's only when it gets serious that it loses its humour and appeal.
Question Author
If I were to write down all that's said with my mates when we all get together the reader would think we're all sworn enemies, ready to slit each other's throats but we're all the best of mates. That's the danger of the printed word, it's either black or white, no-one sees the smile or hears the laugh.
i think that svejk is just trying to point out it's a "rap" over the knuckles, not a "wrap"
Question Author
Oh, RIGHT!
Being born an idiot does have its disadvantages.
Sorry.
