How long, roughly, would it take to save enough energy to recoup the cost of buying a fridge-freezer rated A for energy efficiency, if your current one is rated B?

Russia buying out British Gas?

Years. Literally.

It makes great sense if you HAVE to buy a new freezer to choose A or higher rating, but if your freezer is working well then don't change it.
