The band's original moniker was 'The Greedy Bast***s', abrieviated no doubt, in the interests of airplay.

Ah yes the Greedy B*****ds...saw them live in all their glory in a nightclub.... noticed the non-sexpistololian members of the band staying well back as the others were "GOBBED ON" during their numbers...ah GOBBING where has that gone now?????
