A bit of an oldie this - about 10 years ago Match of The Day used to have some guitar rock to accompany the Goal of The Month section. It was before they started using The Lightning Seeds, Embrace etc - all I can tell you is I think it had a vaguely scottish sound to it (as in some pipes maybe, in the background). Any ideas anybody? I've tried the MoTD website but they don't go back that far.

Ahh I instantly thought of 'The life of Riley' but thats lightning seeds, sorry cant remember anything before that.
